Talking Animal Posters

Mrs. Kelleher's Grade 4 Class used their research and writing skills to learn more about an animal they didn't know much about. Using Google Slides and changing the page layout to 17X11  they created a graphic poster including text features with their newly learned facts. The students then wrote a paragraph to describe three features that help the animal survive.
The final step was to insert the poster image into the app ExplainEverything and record the paragraph.

Animated Valentines ❤️

It has been a week of many Valentine-themed activities.

One of these has been creating animated Valentine cards.

Students first created their images in Google Slides and then duplicated each slide and made one small change as they created each new slide. This process was continued until the final image was created. Then using the site Tall Tweets the Google Slides were turned into a GIF ready to copy and share.

Here is my card for everyone.

Mrs. Gibbas's Class created messages for their JDO friends in Northern Island.

Happy 2022 Reflections! 🎉

New Year Reflections are a fun part of January.

Students used a template as a way to reflect on themself as we enter a new year.

We even embedded new tech skills as we completed this Google Slide assignment. Can you insert a selfie in a document? Do you know the shortcuts for copy and paste? Can you crop an image into a new shape? Where are emojis found?

Take a peek at the completed projects below.
